Russell Dean Wade

Russell Wade, longtime Idaho resident, went to be with Our
Lord on Aug 13 ,2022. He was 61 years
old.
Russ Thor Wade was number 9 out of 10 children from Richard
H Wade and Dana R Wade (Mills). He was born in Caldwell on Oct 17th, 1960. He
attended school at Sunny Slope (Vallivue) Caldwell and graduated from Middleton
High in 1979. He was a good athlete and proud to be a Viking.
Russ enlisted in the Idaho National Guard while still in
high school. He attained the rank of Sgt. E-5 as a track and wheeled vehicle
mechanic then finished up 10 years total on inactive reserve. He came home and
the following fall played football at TVCC. The next year he went to BSU and
wrestled before injuring his ankle. He went back to college and at age 53 he
finished out his college life with associates degrees in communication,
political science and missed his criminal justice degree by one class.
He was a community organizer who founded RADAR, Riders
Against Domestic Abuse and Rape. Assisting survivors thru court dates and
safely leaving dangerous situations. Russ was preceded in death by his Father
and Mother, and his sisters Carilyn Smallwood and Judy Hojsack.
Survivors include his beautiful and loving wife, Symone.
Daughter, Denice Wade of Atlanta, GA; Son, Jeff Wade of Nampa, Idaho;
Step-daughters, Kasey Weinstein of Las Vegas Nevada and Raven (Gabe) Whiteford
of Nampa, Idaho; Sisters, Roberta Belk of North Carolina, Marilyn Naillon of
Caldwell, Idaho and Lynne (Lee) Lent of Caldwell, Idaho; Brothers, Rick (Jan),
of Meridian, Idaho, Chuck (Joanne) of Yuma, Arizona, Dempsey, of Caldwell,
Idaho and Rob (Barb) of Caldwell, Idaho. He loved his grandkids deeply, Decklin
(Double D) from Kuna, Elena Marie "Ellie" and Isaac "Sonic"
of Mountain Home, Orion and Avonlea from Nampa. Numerous cousins, nieces and
nephews.
Russ and his wife Symone have a small ranch with many
rescued animals. Their animals are their family, and he shared a very special
bond with his deaf pit bull Sherman.
Russ was a patriot and strongly believed in the freedoms and
glory we are blessed with here in the United states of America, He was a great
father and stepfather who loved his grandkids with all his heart. Family and
friends were so important to him and he loved so many. Be it someone he went to
grade school with or the friends he made here in Emmett at local shops and
restaurants He made friends wherever he went with his big and booming
personality
My epitaph "Live like there is no tomorrow and make
peace with your maker. We never know when we will be called home to
Glory."
