66, of Caldwell, ID passed away January 25th at home of natural causes. He was born at Siloam Springs, MO the youngest of 8 children to Nova and Hazel Smallwood. The family moved to Wilder in 1948.
Doyle married Carilyn Wade in 1968 and they had 2 sons: Bill and Paul, Doyle and Carilyn later divorced. He married Elaine Eoff and gained a step-daughter , Honi Deaton. They later divorced.
Doyle was a master mechanic, working in the Treasure Valley and Eastern Oregon most of his adult life, making numerous friends. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time on his mining claim with family.
He is survived by his mother Hazel; 2 brothers, Alvin (Fern) and Marshall (Wanda); 3 sisters Avenell Means, Fern Savage and Dolly (Orrin) Parmer, 2 sons Bill (Patty) and Paul (Dorothy), and stepdaughter Honi (Jeff) Deaton, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild . And many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
A memorial will be at a later date (to be announced ) on Facebook, etc. (late spring early summer)

He was preceded in death by his father Nova, brother Arzell, sister Vera Kurpjuweit, brothers-in-law Joe Savage and Thomas Means.
