Dorothy Christine Mitchell Wade, 92, of Columbia died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Columbia Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 W. Business Loop 70, with the Rev. Lewis O'Neal officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wade was born Dec. 14, 1909, in Tarkio to Kit Carson and Josephine Christian Gunderson Mitchell.
She married Glenn Russell Wade on March 28, 1936, in St. Joseph, and he preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, James Glenn Wade of Columbia and Robert Lee Wade of the state of Arizona; two sisters, Zelda Mitchell of Auburn, Neb., and Bernice Graves of Brush, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth Mitchell Wade; a brother, Ralph Lennard Mitchell; three sisters, Mable Blance McNaughton, Kitty Frances Duncan and Myrtle Agness Catron.
